This is a representation of a painting this client admired so much when he was in France, he wanted it incorporated next to his swimming pool. The mural not only is painted with the framework of the arch, but it also wraps the shrubbery around the frame to give it more of a 3D effect inviting the viewer to “enter” the mural!

This project is not actually a mural, it is a painting on a 4 1/2’ x 3’ canvas. The Muralist took a familiar theme – dogs playing poker – and personalized it. All the dogs are the clients’ dogs as well as those of his friends. Additionally, there are many other personal references that appear through out the picture. For instance, the client has a bubble hockey game – it was incorporated into the left side of the image.

Who says the painting has to be on a wall? Maybe on a door, a canvas, or anything else you can come up with!

The Muralist ran into an old high school buddy who wanted a dolphin scene painted his daughter’s bedroom. They discussed some image ideas and this was the end result.
