The idea for this kitchen was to incorporate grape vines and a
distressed Italian village-looking wall to match the
grape-themed accessories throughout the room. The Muralist
blended two tan and crème colors over three walls, then painted
in some cracks and exposed bricks to give the walls that
“weathered” look. He then painted the vines along the top
portions of the walls, draped a few down in the corners, and
added “accent vines” in several different high corners of the
kitchen. Lastly, he painted a window overlooking a vineyard that
also supported a bottle and glass of wine.
